I'm trying to delete an account on XP, and when I get to the final box that says "are you sure....blahblahblah" it freezes when I click on yes. When I "X" out of it, I get the "program is not responding" window. Any ideas?

Are you trying to delete the admin account? That would stop Windows for sure.

Have you tried logging on as Administrator and doing it from there? If you are on XPHome you can only do that from safe mode, with XPPro you can logon to Administrator at logon.

No, it's just a regular account. I'll try logging on as admin.

Ok problem solved. Had to restart in safe mode, log on as admin, change the account to limited, then delete it. All is well now, thanks.

TYCUS, this person did the same thing in the 'How to Make Skins' thread (asked a question that had already been answered) and is best ignored should you come across him/her doing it again.
